Seacoast Splendors perfumes do not contain unhealthy preservatives, alcohol, or phthalates. Phthalates are a group of chemicals that are almost always contained in what some consider the finest high-end designer perfumes and other scented products on the market. The Department of Public Health & Human Services indicates that DEHP, a phthalate, is a potential carcinogen. The United States Environmental Protection Agency indicates that phthalates are probable human carcinogens. We searched long and hard for manufacturers that produce ingredients that are free of phthalates.
Our silk perfume sprays contain no alcohol or silicones. They are gentle on the skin and non-toxic. The ingredients used are substitutes for cyclomethicone-based ingredients, but our dry oil silk spray type fragrances have same effect as cyclomethicone; that being a luxurious, silky feeling on the skin, but without the worry of applying potentially dangerous chemicals to the skin.
The perfume oils contain unrefined sweet almond oil and vitamin E. ****Anyone with an allergy to nuts should avoid using the perfume oils and instead try the silk-based sprays.
For those who prefer pure and natural essences, our natural perfumes do not contain anything artificial and consist of 100% pure essential oils and absolutes in a base of organic unrefined Prunus amygdalus dulcis and Simmondsia chinensis. ***Anyone with an allergy to nuts should avoid using our perfume oils due to the sweet almond oil content.
